ZEOLITE - (Zeolitic Tuff)

Zeolites comprise a series of crystalline, hydrated aluminum-silicates of alkaline elements, which are porous, fine-grained, hydrated minerals common in sedimentary rocks of volcanic origin. Zeolites have the ability to exchange some of their constituent cations without major change of structure.
Due to their ion exchange and moisture adsorption capacities, Zeolites are increasingly used in pollution control, agricultural and industrial applications.

Use of Zeolites:
- In agriculture,
· It preserves more than 50% of soil moisture even in high temperature degrees.

· A soil conditioner and a slow release-fertilizer.
· Added to organic fertilizers.
- In animal nutrition as feed additive.
- To capture and remove harmful substances in water and wastewater treatment.
- Lightweight construction materials. "Pozolanic Cement"
- Gas purification and separation.
- Sorbent barriers for radioactive waste.
- A cat litter " Litter box
- Reduce the odor intensity and ammonia gas concentration in animal houses.
- Used in pure Oxygen industry.
